Women of IFA Network (WIN)

Women in International Taxation

The Women of IFA Network (WIN) is a global initiative by the International Fiscal Association (IFA) dedicated to connecting and empowering professional women in the field of international taxation. Established in 2013 during the IFA Congress in Copenhagen, WIN aims to enhance the visibility and participation of women within IFA and the broader international tax community.

Objectives of WIN

Networking

  • Build a trusted international network of women specializing in international taxation

Representation

  • Increase female participation in IFA’s governance, including the Executive Committee, Permanent Scientific Committee (PSC), and national branches.

Visibility

  • Enhance the presence of women as speakers and panelists in IFA’s scientific programs, annual congresses, regional conferences, and local branch initiatives

Highlighting Leadership: Shefali Goradia

A testament to WIN’s mission is the appointment of Shefali Goradia from India to the Permanent Scientific Committee (PSC) of IFA. Her inclusion not only reflects her individual expertise but also underscores WIN’s commitment to integrating more women into influential roles within the association. Such representation ensures diverse perspectives in shaping international tax policies and research.
